New Doo

As you have probably noticed from other pictures, I chopped my hair off again. It feels so good to have it short, but it took some getting used to...it was pretty short as you can see in my Vegas post, I think I'll keep it a bit longer in the future...at least in the front.

Say Cheeze!!

So Z has learned that when the camera comes out, if he smiles he gets a picture and he gets to see himself. He thinks it is the funniest thing ever!!

Aww just woke up:
Let the CHEESE begin:

He soon figured out that he needs to squint because of the flash too, I"m sure he had white spots everywhere!
Add in the big bro, they love eachother tonz, and J is teaching Z everything he knows.
Can you say Treasure Troll? His hair is outa control!!
Best Budds:
Another time, grabbin to see his self on the camera.

Havin fun with Dad.
Good times bein Cheezy!!

Las Vegas 1 2009

So, for Doug's birthday (and my brothers anniversary) we all went to Vegas!! Woohoo!! We had too much fun. Here is Shane and Jill at the Rainforest Cafe in the MGM, they have tails!!

Really awesome photo op at the Luxor..my favorite is Criss Angel in the background, teeheehee.

Aww, the cute couples! I rock at taking pix of me and Doug don't I?!?!

Inside the Luxor
Sphynx toe jam:
Vegas wouldn't be Vegas without Olympic Gardens!! Strippers are fun, hehe. This cutie did a great job dancing for Jill...this is the only picture I could put up that wasn't incriminating!! Jill hates it because she thinks she looks like she is going to eat someones face off, bwahahah.
And this cutie dragging me off to a corner did a great job dancing for both of us...I know now why they call him the human vibrator...woo!! And what a sexy accent..droolz. Um, the boys were down stairs where they do not allow pictures to be taken, hahaha. Who knows what they did, but they had fun.
This is me after a day and a half of walking. My back was killing me so we had ice in a bag on my back and they had me drinking some Jack with my fancy long straw. I know, I am a dork!!
Doug and I went to Mandalay Bay to see Shark Reef again...I left him in this aquarium, looked like he belonged there.
We had a wonderful time, got the kids some candy from M&M Factory and Excalibur, Doug won another dragon there for Z. We ate at Cheesecake Factory in Caesars Palace, had interesting conversations in taxi's and on the monorail, cried because they closed up Qwarks Bar, drank plenty, had a good experience at Paradise Cafe in The Hilton (where we stayed), had a bad experience at Paradise Cafe, found out we lost a phone while eating pizza in New York and had to go to Paris to get it, saw Zumanity which was totally awesome, and sat around for an extra hour with a delayed flight back home due to fog...
It was a great trip to Vegas as always...can't wait till next time!!!!

Bath Time!!

About a month ago (yes I am a slacker) little Z got his first bump on the head, as you can see. He loves bath time and has a blast splish splashing around. He also has learned how to "say cheese" for the camera, you hold it up and he cracks a cheezy smile, it is so cute. He has learned his first word in sign language: Milk. And he trys to talk and he does a great job at mimicking, almost sounds like he knows what he is saying, he says momma and dadda and there is a sound he makes for J too. He is slacking on walking, he's been making the movements with his legs since he was born, but he can get places faster crawling..hopefully he will be walking by the time he turns one in a few weeks. Look at those teeth!!
What Chu Talkin Bout??

What a cutie!!
Do you think I'm cute...hmmm?
Awww Baby Z isn't a baby anymore ;(

Hubby's New Tattoo

Short story of my weekend: This is what my hubby's back started out looking like, but he wanted more.

So he made a few calls and got something drawn up and we headed to the SLC Tattoo Convention at the Salt Palace on Friday. This is what it looked like at the end of the day Friday after 6 hours:
And on Saturday they started again. He was screaming in pain (I was laughing, well...he wanted it didn't he?) At times they double teamed it...and boy did he squirm!!
The skull wasn't the only one that looked like it was crying in pain:
So, Saturday 8 hours later this is what it looked like:
After carrying him home Saturday night and then dragging his butt back on Sunday morning they finally finished another 5 or so hours later (this is two guys tho so if you add man hours we were into it at least 24 hours in a 3 day period).

They did win Tattoo of the day!! I'm sure if there was a tattoo of the weekend they would have won that as well.
And here are the three that did most of the work (the only one missing is the one that took the picture...me...cuz I was holding his hand and pushing him to keep going the whole time. He would never have gotten it done if I hand't pulled him thru it.and Monday....we rested!!!
