This is our puppy Sage...she's 5 months old and 60 lbs.



We cropped her ears, which is breed standard for Presa Canario;s. She's a beautiful dog and a great addition to our family.

Club House Part 2

So...This is where we started off this morning...And then there was a roof...
Sawdust was flying...
And then there were windows...My cute son smiling at me thru one...
His Dad did a great job at letting him help build his club house...He's a pro at the nail gun now...
And he was a great big brother by covering his baby brothers ears when the loud tools were being used...
And then there was a sliding glass door....
And then a trap door, this is from the ground looking up...
And finally the (silver) ladders were cemented into place at the trap door and the side of the balcony. (The yellow one is not a part of that)
I have the most wonderful husband in the world, and my brother and sister-in-law were there helping the whole time as well. There are still details to be taken care of (the slide, a table, and some extra support on the lower legs, safety rope across the balcony, etc.), but for the most part this is the finished product!! HOW FUN. I'll try to post more as it evolves.

The Club House!!

I've been begging my husband and brother to build the boys a "club house" for years now. They finally started by cementing the poles in yesterday, and here is their progress!! Obviously more pictures to come:



We had the dogs out with us too!!
They stopped for the heat of the day and to make some jambalaya and are back out there working on it!! I can't wait for it to be done...so I can imagine how excited my older son is!! It comes complete with two windows, a sliding glass door, a trap door, a balcony, and whatever else the financing (I) can afford. If all goes well, they will be able to climb to the balcony up a ladder, slide down the other side, and there are discussions about adding a zip line in the future. It also comes with an unfinished basement, hahaha, for now it will be the new home of a colorful hammock I found at a garage sale!! Keep checking back!

MDA Ride to Wendover

This is the whole crazy bunch of us that went on the MDA Ride to Wendover. It was so much fun, can't wait for the next ride...

My Boyz

These are my boys! I love them all so much and don't know what I would ever do without them. They're all studs aren't they!! We went to the zoo for my company summer party and had a hot but fun time. It's Z's first train ride!! And J's a pro at the zoo.
